You’ve probably already heard about that ‘leak‘ of almost 5 millions of G-Mail accounts ?
On 09.09.2014 on Russian forum, user who goes by nick tvskit published, to be exact: 4.929.090 of G-Mail accounts with passwords. Some of forum users, checked few records and some of them were confirmed to be ‘working’. The list seems to be a compilation of laboriously collected data from few years back. Feedback that’s going from community state that the collection is mostly out-dated, and only partially working.
Don’t panic, if you had strong, unique password – you’re most likely not on the list. However, if you’d like to check your family members, who aren’t on top with password policy are safe – you may do so by checking in this file (link at the end of article).
